GCISD Junior Football Captain

Every year the Education Foundation is proud to sponsor the GCISD Junior Captain Program during the GHS and CHHS football season. This program is an opportunity to connect GCISD families with the Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation to promote the purpose of the Foundation and create awareness. When the football season schedules are released, parents of elementary age students have the opportunity to submit an application to become a junior captain. One elementary student is selected for each home game during the season. During the pre-game activities the student and a member of the GCEF present the game ball to the referees on the 50 yard line. The student is also included in the coin toss midfield. Parents and family members are invited to join in the festivities.
